Folk Wool Overcoat

Yes, yes, yes. We know that we’re only just starting to see the first glimpses of a fleeting British summer, but as far as the fashion world is concerned, they’ve flogged you everything you’re likely to need for your summer holidays and the focus is now on the colder weather.
That’s why the AW2013 collections are starting to trickle into the stores. That includes a few new pieces from Folk.
One of the first items out of the blocks is this Folk Wool Overcoat. With its heavy wool build and cotton lining, you could not wish to find a less summery coat, so you’ll have to let your mind wander towards wrapping up to head out on crisp autumn evenings before you are likely to imagine a possible use for this.
It’s made from thick navy wool, which makes this a contender for your winter jacket if you’re looking for something a bit different from a pea coat.
Details that set this apart from your average wool overcoat are the shawl collar, horn buttons and that interesting edging on the two front pockets and zip closure. All typical Folk design work. And that designed work is topped off with a nice lining, including a multi-coloured inside pocket.
